September 15, 2009 Board Meeting Agenda Item #31 Title APPROVAL OF THE RIVERVIEW HIGH SCHOOL FIELD TRIP TO THE NATIONAL FFA CONVENTION IN INDIANAPOLIS, INDIANA, ON OCTOBER 20, 2009 THROUGH OCTOBER 25, 2009 Description Students will attend the National FFA Convention where they will participate in a career/trade show to learn of the endless opportunities in Agriculture. They will also be involved in leadership courses that pertain to going to college, how to be a better leader, and teamwork classes. One student was chosen to compete for the national title in the National Agriscience Fair. Recommendation That the Riverview High School field trip to the National FFA Convention in Indianapolis, Indiana, on October 20, 2009 through October 25, 2009, be approved.
